While all contributions are invaluable, the Forever Texas Campaign emphasizes major gifts of $5,000 or more, as well as planned gifts. This campaign is establishing an endowment to support our mission of conserving working lands forever.

Individuals who include TALT or the TALT Foundation in their will or estate plan, or those who donate a conservation easement, are established as members of the Forever Texas Society, honoring your lasting dedication to preserving Texas's natural heritage.

Members of the Forever Texas Society are devoted to conserving open spaces, native wildlife habitats, and the natural resources of Texas’ private working lands. Their legacy showcases their commitment. Planned gifts ensure TALT’s enduring presence, just like the easements we safeguard.

How can I give to the Forever Texas Fund®?

Contributing to the Forever Texas Fund endowment is a direct investment in the perpetual conservation of Texas's natural treasures. Gifts can be made to the TALT Foundation, with a designation to the Forever Texas Fund endowment. The TALT Foundation accepts various forms of support, including monetary contributions, stock donations, real estate, and gifts through an estate. As a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization, donations to the TALT Foundation are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

TALT’s impact…
by the numbers.

TALT’s conservation easements protect lots of open space. But we don’t measure our success merely by acres. Each of our conservation easements are unique, and work to not only protect acres of land, but family legacies, too. Our work also supports rural communities, areas of our state that rely on agriculture and working lands for thriving economies.

  • We conserve land, but more importantly, family legacies. We have had the privilege of helping 68 families preserve their legacies.

  • Since 2007, TALT has helped land stewards conserve over 285,000 acres of Texas land.

  • TALT protects important habitat that may support as many as 720 species of plants and animals in need of conservation across the state of Texas.

  • TALT-held easements conserve over 77-billion gallons of water annually. That's enough water to fill 583.2 billion water bottles!

“Forever Texas is our family's way of helping ensure that the future of Texas is one of working lands, vibrant natural resources, wildlife habitats and open spaces. It will pay dividends for untold generations. As owners of working lands, the support we give to conserving the landscape that makes Texas Texas will bring benefits for all Texans, and for all time.”

“Working lands are the lifeblood of Texas - they fuel our economy, they clean our air and water, they host wildlife habitat and they anchor our families and heritage as Texans. We support the Forever Texas Fund because it will help keep the wide open lands of Texas working - for all Texans, forever.”
